The Mystery of the Missing Week is one of the Collectibles found in Alan Wake. It is one of the pages of the Departure manuscript.

Again, Alice's screams rang in the stillness of the night. I saw myself run toward the cabin, flashlight in my hand.

I followed my past self. I was an out-of-body observer, a time traveler in a crazy, drunken dream. This was the beginning, the night Alice had disappeared.

The mystery of what had happened during the missing week was about to reveal itself.

The page can be found on the second floor landing of the Anderson's farmhouse.

Notes[]

This manuscript page also appears in the Alan Wake and Fortnite collaboration map, Alan Wake: Flashback. However, there are some differences:
- The page now opens with "I dreamt of the night Alice went missing. Her screams rang […]".
- The word "drunken" is omitted.
- The text now consist of two only paragraphs, the first one ending with the second sentence of the original second paragraph.
