The Edge Motel is the motel where Barry Wheeler and the Old Gods of Asgard stay at while on tour. It is seen in the beginning and ending cinematics of Alan Wake's American Nightmare.
The motel is two stories, with a corrugated blue roof. The railings are alternating blue-and-red blocks of plastic held in place by metal.
Development[]
The Edge Motel and its surrounding area were originally created for a prototype showcasing Remedy's original pitch for Alan Wake 2 back in 2010. However, since Microsoft were not interested in a sequel, most of the assets and ideas shown in the prototype were used to develop a much smaller game - Alan Wake's American Nightmare.
