TV Head Alan is a character who appears in a special DLC episode of Alan Wake called "The Writer".
Background
He appears before the real Alan talking to an Imaginary Emil Hartman about his problems, except here he is willing to accept criticism from Hartman in order to get the help he apparently needed. After hearing comments from Alice about him, he decides to stay at the Cauldron Lake Lodge. Soon after, he disappears, leaving only the TV that was on his head. The real Alan doesn't give into what was played out before him. Most of the scene can be skipped if you choose to do so.
