Shel Dyke is one of the residents of Bright Falls.

Bright Falls (Mini-series)

While Jake Fischer is visiting the town, Shel is touched by the Dark Presence. She tries to hit lamps with rocks and she had bitten deputy Mulligan in his hand. Later on, she can be seen ravaging in the back of the police car behind bars, just like in the vision Jake had. While she slowly turns into a Taken, she never is a "proper" Taken for the fact that she can still be outside in the sunlight, but only just.

Trivia

Shel could also be the one throwing lights out around Jake's motel.
