Ordinary is a town in Maine, hometown of Jesse Faden, Director of the FBC. Ordinary is also the setting of the ARG blog This House of Dreams.
In 2002, a mysterious supernatural event occurred in Ordinary, affecting Jesse and her younger brother Dylan.

The town is first mentioned in a hidden message in Alan Wake's American Nightmare, stating "It will happen again, in another town, a town called Ordinary."
