The following page provides a guide for the second episode of Night Springs expansion, North Star, including the location of collectibles and the achievements that can be obtained.

LOOK FOR YOUR BROTHER[]
Find a way into the park[]
The episode begins outside the Coffee World theme park; its gate is locked and a three-digit code must be entered on its keypad to open it. By inspecting the nearby security booth, you will find a notebook containing a list of entry codes. The guiding star will highlight the one belonging to Saturday 15th: 238. Enter that code in the keypad to access the park.
Exploring the park, you will soon come across the fadeout-like coffee monsters. However, they are currently not hostile. Go to the well-lit gazebo, highlighted by the guiding star.
Talk to the Sheriff[]
Once you are on the gazebo, talk to the Sheriff.
Take the gun and flashlight[]
After talking with the Sheriff, he will let you take the pistol and flashlight from the open suitcase on the bench to his right. These will be essential to combat the now hostile coffee monsters, which you are very likely to encounter as you traverse the park.
GET INSIDE THE WAREHOUSE[]
Head towards the Coffee Warehouse, located on the west end of the park; it will be highlighted by the guiding star. The entrance leading to the warehouse will be blocked by three darkness spots, which you will have to destroy with your flashlight. After the blockage is destroyed, you will be attacked by two coffee monsters. Once you reach the warehouse, talk to the intercom.
Find the orientation video[]
Investigate the Welcome Center (optional)[]
By going to the Welcome Center, located on the opposite end of the park, and inspecting the videocassette recorder you will discover that the videotape is missing.
Return to the gazebo and talk to the sheriff. He will tell you that the video tape you are looking for is on cup number four of the Slow Roaster ferris wheel and will leave the control key on a table next to him.
Take the key from the table[]
Pick up the control key which you will need to activate the ferris wheel.
Investigate ferris wheel cup #4[]
Head to the Slow Roaster ferris wheel, located north from the gazebo, after the Tasting Room. There, use the control key on the console to activate the ride and press the button on the console to activate the ferris wheel. Stop the ride when cup number 4 reaches the station and pick up the videotape inside.

Return to the Welcome Center and place the videotape on the videocassette recorder to watch the video.
Return to the intercom[]
Return to the warehouse and talk to the intercom.
Investigate the Roasting Bar[]
Go to the Roasting Bar located near the park entrance; it will be highlighted by the guiding star.
Find the correct temperature[]
On the Roasting Bar, you will see a series of three posters that provide clues to find the correct temperature; each of them will be highlighted by the guiding star. The first clue states that the optimal temperature is “greater than the sum of [their] triangle”, referring to the sum of the degrees of the corners of the triangle shown on the poster: 180. The second clue states that the first digit of the optimal temperature is half of the second, and that the third digit is one less than the second digit. The third clue states that the optimal temperature is below 500 degrees Fahrenheit. A nearby paper discards 243, leaving only 365 and 487 as the only two possibilities, the latter being the correct one. Introduce the number in the roasting machine to confirm the answer.

Investigate the Tasting Room[]
Go to the Tasting Room located before the Slow Roaster. Once there, pick up the coffee cup on the table.

Return to the warehouse and talk to the intercom. On your way there, you can also meet and talk with the Sheriff.
LOOK FOR YOUR BROTHER[]
Before being allowed to enter the warehouse, you will have to forfeit your gun, putting it inside a small container next to the intercom. After doing so, proceed inside the building. Now unarmed, you will have to sneak from the two coffee mascots that roam the warehouse. While they normally move slowly, they will increase their speed upon having you in their line of sight, making it almost impossible to outrun them. Upon entering, one of the mascots will move towards you. Hiding behind a pile of coffee bean sacks on the left, wait there until the mascot moves leftwards. Go in the opposite direction, passing by the blue lockers, and turn right once more. On a small table near the corner of the warehouse, you will find a red toolbox that contains the Warehouse Office Key. Once the path is clear, use the key to enter the warehouse office. Inside, go to the adjacent room on the left, where you will find the possessed Sheriff. Descend down a trapdoor behind him to a small room decorated with constellations and continue down a set of stairs to finish the episode.

There is a total of four achievements that can be obtained during this episode, two of which are story-related and therefore unmissable.

Collectibles[]
Coffee World Stashes[]
There is a total of six stashes to find in Coffee World, each containing ammunition, batteries, and healing items. Five of them are available from the start, while the last one requires first obtaining the flashlight. Each stash holds a coded message inside, which is unreadable until after trying the coffee. Finding all six is required for the Percolate achievement/trophy.
