The Mount Redtooth National Observatory is one of the locations in Alan Wake's American Nightmare.
At this point in the game, Alan reaches the observatory and meets with Dr. Rachel Meadows. He then fights through numerous Taken in the surrounding area, as well as the observatory proper.

The Mount Redtooth Observatory consists of several outbuildings as well as the observatory itself.
Trivia[]
- The Mount Redtooth Observatory logo seems to use the Venturis Sans font, although the capital M is different.
- The jacket worn by Michael Farabee which serves as a transition to the Observatory separates the name into three words: "Mount Red Tooth." The rest of the game uses the "Redtooth" spelling.
- Mount Redtooth is the highest point in the map used for Alan Wake's American Nightmare, and can be seen from almost every place in the game, including the arcade maps
- Similarly, the Desert Shore Motel and the Drive-In Theater can be seen in the distance from the observatory.
