Sometime before the events of Alan Wake 2, Rose Marigold employed Mandy-May's help to make knitwear to guide "The Hero" she believed Alan Wake was guiding via his writings to the secret Alex Casey Lunchboxes Rose had hidden throughout the wilderness around Bright Falls.[1]

During Return 3: Local Girl, Mandy-May, Donna, and Rose can be found inside Suomi Hall, listening to Ahti's preformance of Yötön Yö karaoke on stage. Saga can attempt to talk to any of the three; regardless, Rose will shush Saga's attempts.
During Return 5: Old Gods, Mandy-May and Norman MacDonald can be found together in the first floor...

- Mandy-May bears a strong resemblance to an old lady who appeared in the concept art for Alan Wake 2, notably with both knitting what appears to be a "monster of a knitwork." However, this art is confirmed to be of Cynthia Weaver and not her.
