Jaakoppi Huotari is a historical figure in Watery. He is the brother of Ilmari Huotari.
In-game, he is not seen but only mentioned through text or speech.
Alan Wake 2[]
Jaakoppi is mentioned in one of Alan Wake's manuscript pages which can be found by Saga Anderson.
The Huotari Well[]
At the plaque of the Huotari Well, Jaakoppi is mentioned. According to this plaque, he helped his brother Ilmari hide the bodies of Ilmari's victims.
Despite his help, he later becomes a victim himself and ends up being murdered by his own brother.
Nightless Night[]
In the short movie, he is only referred to as 'brother' by Ilmari. Ilmari ridicules his death and told his gang and Kesä that Jaakoppi's constant yapping annoyed him, so he killed him in cold blood.
There's also blood splatters visible on Ilmari's jacket.
