Go Gentle Into That Good Light (25G/Bronze) is an achievement/trophy in Alan Wake.
Description[]
Pre-Achievement:
- "Make it through the approach to the lighthouse without firing a weapon".
Post-Achievement:
- "You made it to the lighthouse without firing a single shot".
Walkthrough[]
It requires you to complete the mad dash to the lighthouse without firing a weapon. It starts after Alan talks to Zane on the overlook, that is found after the crashed plane. The challenge is awarded once you arrive at the lighthouse.
Tips[]
- Although you can't shoot a gun, you are still allowed to use any flares or flashbangs that you have.
- Burn away the word, "clear" and a blockage will disappear allowing the light from the lighthouse to kill the Taken.
- The light from the lighthouse will kill the Taken so maneuver them into the light.
- This is best done on normal difficulty.
