Bright Falls Aficionado

Bright Falls Aficionado (30G) is an achievement in Alan Wake. You earn the achievement by reading all of the historical and cultural landmarks found throughout Bright Falls. There is 25 signs in total.

Description

Pre-achievement:

• "Absorb every bit of local history and culture."

Post-Achievement:

• "You have examined every sign and point of interest in the Bright Falls area."

Locations

Episode 1 (1)

• In the gas station after the lumber yard. On the side of a shelf. Flyer about Deerfest.

Episode 2 (5)

• Wanted posters in the police station hallway.
• Mastadon sign in the visitor's center before the player talks to Rusty.
• Moonshine cave near Lover's Peak, next to a chest.
• On the way to Lover's Peak, there is a sign with a large hole at its base. An assault Taken will emerge from here.
• Giant tree section, hanging to the right of the Lover's Peak entrance.

Episode 3 (3)

• On the left side of the coal mine entrance, near a mine cart.
• Sign on a red building after crossing the bridge in the ghost town.
• After the tram to Mirror Peak, there is a sign for Cauldron Lake just before a rope bridge.

Episode 4 (5)

• The giant sundial outside of the retreat.
• Creator's Dilemma in the common area.
• While following Hartman, the sign is in the hallway with the stuffed bear.
• In front of the retreat, at the base of the statue.
• At the Anderson farm. In the barn, second level, near some hay bales. Next to the crane switch.

• After going to the Town Hall,you will come across a park, the sign is on a minutemen statue.
• On the first floor of the book store.
• The sign in front of the church.
• After the transformer yard, right in front of the spinning bridge.
• Sign on the entrance to the power plant.
• Sign next to the triple-switch puzzle.
• After the elevator to the top of the dam, the sign is next to the switch you must activate.
