The Angel Lamp is a tool used by Alan Wake in Alan Wake 2.
Background[]
The lamp once belonged to Thomas Zane, and was the same lamp from which the Clicker was initially cut. Since Zane's disappearance, Cynthia Weaver had been looking after it, however whilst in the Valhalla Nursing Home she found it went missing. This was due to Rose Marigold sending the Angel Lamp to the Dark Place after seemingly receiving messages from Alan Wake.
Alan eventually found the lamp within the Dark Place, and used it to traverse it.
Usage[]
The lamp can absorb nearby light sources, though it can only absorb the light certain locations. It can then be used on an environment with a flicking light in order to change it in a drastic way, such as opening up the entrance to the Subway or an escape route out of a studio.
